Kicker Q-Class 41L784 L7 Series 8" Subwoofer
Truly Huge Bass
Kicker's updated L7 Series subwoofers are designed for one purpose: to deliver truly huge, supremely accurate bass. The 41L782 8" component subwoofer handles up to 500 watts RMS, so you can count on major-league performance. Its innovative square cone moves much more air than a conventional 8" round cone, and this sub's made to take anything you can dish out. The two 2-ohm voice coils give you extra flexibility in incorporating this sub into your system.
Built-In Toughness
The woofer's forged aluminum frame and Santoprene rubber surround handle high-level playback, while keeping the cone on track. The injection-molded SoloKon™ polypropylene cone features special back bracing for strength and responsiveness. And the UniPlate back plate and pole piece are made as a single, solid unit to allow heat to escape the motor. Translation? Kicker designed this sub to take some serious punishment.

Features:
Square Design: By making the cone square, Kicker is giving you the most possible cone area (Sd) for a given size baffle, 16% to 20% more area than a conventional round subwoofer. More cone area means the cone moves more air, resulting in louder, deeper bass.
Dual Voice Coils: For increased system flexibility, the woofer has two 2Ω voice coils. When the voice coils are wired in parallel, the woofer presents a 1Ω load; when wired in series, the woofer presents a 4Ω load.
Terminals: The spring post terminals will accept pin connectors, single banana plugs (but not dual), and bare wire up to 8 gauge.
Break-in Period: Due to the complex nature of Kicker L7 woofers, they require a break-in period in order to produce optimum bass response. The high-performance suspension system makes the speakers very stiff out-of-the-box. Approximately two weeks of daily playing will allow the suspension to break-in and reach its optimum equilibrium. A broken-in subwoofer will exhibit stronger bass performance, smoother response, and greater low-bass extension.
Sealed Enclosure: A sealed enclosure design gives the smoothest response with increased energy at the lowest frequencies (between 20 and 3 0 Hz).

- Maximum Volume: 1 ft³ with a 2" x 9½" x 21¼" slot port
