Making Life Beautiful, Convenient, & Fun.
SI was started in Ryan Gustafson’s garage in 2003, frustrated with the lack of quality and innovation in the screen markets, he ventured out to build his own. The rest is history. Ever since, we have continued his focus on quality and innovation in our hand-built product line, growing into the company we are today. We employ over 100 Americans (including some Veterans and former Military) to whom we offer competitive wages, health and dental insurance, retirement benefits and more.

Nano Shade Line-up.
SI has announced that its popular ambient-light-rejecting Short Throw material is now available on Solo Pro. The Solo family of screens are highly customizable motorized screens that can be carried and installed in 5-minutes by a single person. The combination of Solo Pro with SI’s ALR Short Throw material, overcomes a litany of barriers that have been traditionally associated with two-piece projection. With Solo’s lithium-rechargeable and low-voltage options, electricians are no longer required, enabling two-piece projection nearly anywhere. Short Throw, which uses a microscopic lenticular optical technology (think window blinds) is best suited for ultra-short throw projection applications where the projector is located directly below the screen at throw ratios as close as 0.1 times the image width.
Screen Innovations (SI), a premier US-based manufacturer of projection screens and window shades, widens its Nano product category with the addition of Nano 375 Box Coupled to its extensive shade lineup, providing integrators with a simple, decorative, economical, and highly functional solution for banks of windows up to 24 feet Thanks to the new coupled shade offering, integrators can install one motor to drive as many as four individual Nano Box shades. The Nano Coupled Box perfectly matches the look and feel of the entire Nano shade lineup. Plus, by eliminating the need for one long fascia, its modular design facilitates simpler, safer transport and one-man installation. Power and control options mirror the Nano lineup, providing integrators with the flexibility to employ either AC and DC power and enable control via a wide range of third-party control systems.
Noted as a huge growth area and revenue-building opportunity for home systems integrators, motorized shading is a topic that integrators are eagerly pursuing to learn more about. Screen Innovations is doing its part by offering free online training sessions throughout the month of April. Integrators are invited to register to attend any of SI’s informative webinars, which cover topics such as utilizing Zigbee 3.0 in shading installations, how to streamline the installation process, utilizing SI’s innovative Flow ordering program, a tutorial on SI’s wired and wireless options, and more. “The shade training has been designed to be relevant and impactful to both inexperienced integrators and seasoned professionals, so no matter the skill level of the attendee, there will be something beneficial for everyone,” says SI Director of Training Sasha Osadchy.
