Peavey's RX14 is a 1" compression driver designed with a pure titanium diaphragm and 1.4" Kapton voice coil for greater power handling compared to similar sized compression drivers. The RX14 1" compression driver is known for excellent driver performance, reliability, and power handling. The voice coil is a copper clad aluminum wire wound on a Kapton high temperature coil former. The one-piece titanium diaphragm reduces the amount of moving mass, extending the high frequency response of the driver. Ferrofluid cooling is used for improved reliability and smoother frequency response.
