Hyper-Efficient Balanced Performance
Striking the optimal balance between amplifier power, driver capability and cabinet volume, Reference Premiere subwoofers achieve maximum low frequency extension with great output, accuracy and speed
Ground UP Driver Design
A redesigned driver aimed at delivering the ultimate low-frequency experience, the Cerametallic™ woofers are incredibly powerful and efficient, outperforming the competition.
Spun Copper Front-Firing Cerametallic Woofer
The Cerametallic woofer is both light and rigid, which is meant to produce exceptional bass response with minimal cone breakup and distortion, for cleaner output that uses less amplifier power.
The built-in, high efficiency amplifier features an analog preamp design, which maintains the original signal path for cleaner, true-to-source reproduction. The Class D output stage ensures maximum efficiency for maximum output, detail, and low frequency power.
Front Firing Slot Port with EXCLUSIVE Internal Flare Technology
Klipsch incorporated a proprietary internal construction to drastically reduce port noise for a clean, undistorted sound that features a front-firing Aerofoil slot design. This front-firing design allows for greater flexibility in placement.
Out of the box, the RP-1000SW connects to your system via an RCA/LFE input, but wireless convenience is possible with an optional Klipsch WA-2 wireless subwoofer kit. Sold separately, this kit provides complete freedom in subwoofer placement and works to allow a high-resolution connection for optimized bass output.
Use Both Inputs Simultaneously
With the optional Klipsch WA-2 Wireless Subwoofer Kit (sold separately), it allows high resolution wireless connectivity for easy placement anywhere in your room and optimizes output and low frequency response. Connect up to four WA-2 wireless kits to Klipsch RP-1000SW Powered Subwoofer in a single room for a completely wireless connection.
A low-pass crossover and variable phase control let you tune the RP-1000SW to your other Klipsch speakers and your home theater room.
Exceptional efficiency on or off.To conserve energy and reduce costs, the Klipsch RP-1000SW uses only 0.5W when in standby mode.
Ultra Durable Finish
The ebony black vinyl finish covers the entire body of the Klipsch RP-1000SW Powered Subwoofer cabinet. This scratch resistant finish looks like real wood.
Rounded corners, shock-absorbing rubber feet, steel grille posts and a woven cloth grille ensure a premium look and feel.
Pound-for-Pound Better Sound Than the Competition
Klipsch has spent nearly three years engineering the Reference Premiere Subwoofer line to perfection. Guided by the “higher efficiency, lower distortion” design principles of our legendary founder Paul W. Klipsch, the RP Subs produce clean, natural bass while using less effort. It’s the hallmark of the series, and we know you’ll have just as much listening to them as we had creating them.
