Great speakers! Just got my sevens and hooked them up in like two minutes! These are my first set of powered speakers other than the typical JBL type portable. I have to say I’m blown away by the sound. The app is terrific. Super easy to use and the EQ setting fantastic as far as getting the right sound. They come with a few presets as well as the ability to customize it and believe me it makes a tremendous difference compared to the flat setting that they come with from the factory. I have them in a very large room so I’m still debating adding a separate subwoofer. I’m considering going with the Klipsch RP line. It’s just a matter if I go with the 10 inch or the 12 inch. You really don’t need them a sub but like I say I’m in a very very large room. I would suggest trying the speakers out first before buying the subwoofer if you’re considering that. The remote control that comes with the speakers is nothing special. But it does everything that you would need to do. I find myself using the app a lot more at this point just because I like playing with the equalizer and adjusting the base. Anyway they came out with a newer model of these speakers called the sevens ll.
The major difference besides having a better build in amp and a better is they’re also capable of hooking them up to Wifi where is the first generation relies on Bluetooth. At first I was on the fence about which ones to go for but if you can grab the sevens at a good price, I would suggest doing that. The price difference is tremendous. They’re getting hard to find but they are substantially discounted at this point.
The speakers came super quick and packed excellent. I literally have nothing to complain about. If you’re on the fence about buying these, pull the trigger and do it. I don’t think you’ll be sorry.
