Ok, so these are more like 4.5 stars for me overall. For gaming I'd say a 3.5-4 but for music, they are almost a 5/5 for me. I listen to a variety of music but my favorite genre is metalcore. These are sometimes a touch dark/warm, but for the most part they are solid in presentation.

The bass doesn't bleed into the midrange too much (a problem with my argon t50rp mk3 headphones, for example). The impact is pretty good, not the best but good enough. You have to listen to these quite loud (louder than I would like) if you are gaming however, since the small details like footsteps can get lost if the volume is too low.

But yeah, overall I like them and I got them primarily so I could listen to music without needing to have my headphones on all day but without sacrificing on quality too much... and they work well for that.

I'd recommend some kind of stand though (Kanto's s4 or se4 for example). Getting the speakers pointed directly at your ears is important, otherwise they sound way too muffled/boomy when they are flat on the desk and pointed at your chest in my opinion.
