SVS SB-5000 R|Evolution 15" Powered Subwoofer (Open Box)

With the emergence of new flagship SVS subwoofers, it was only a matter of time before the unprecedented technology made its way to newer models at prices within reach of more people. Now, the 5000 R|Evolution Series brings a level of performance and a user experience that far exceeds anything in its class. Featuring a sealed cabinet design, SB-5000 R|Evolution delivers pristine musical output with flawless tonal accuracy and unerring control to delight the most discerning audiophiles. Yet, it still wields enough power to pressurize a room and extend down to 17Hz for the most demanding cinematic action scenes. Effortless low-frequency output and extreme SPLs without a hint of distortion are rendered by a formidable 15-inch driver with dual edge-wound voice coils driven by a 2,000 Watt Continuous, 5,000+ Watts Peak power dual monoblock amplifier. There are also brains to match the brawn. A 295MHz Analog Devices DSP, the most powerful processor ever deployed in a home audio subwoofer, ensures pinpoint accurate frequency response and optimal performance under any conditions. SB-5000 R|Evolution demolishes all performance benchmarks for subwoofers in its class. With trickle-down technology from the 17-Ultra R|Evolution Series, named the top subwoofers in the world by nearly every reviewer and industry group, it obliterates expectations making reference experiences possible for more people than ever.
